The book of Psalm is a book commonly read by millions of Christians around the world. However, reading this short chapter of the bible, it is important we understand it’s message.
In its basic and general form, the Psalm is providing insight on what we need to do in order to be blessed, but what it does not provide, are the details as to why the man in the Psalm was a blessed man.
In its most basic of message, we know to avoid the counsel of the ungodly is to reap the blessing of God according to the Psalm. However, what was the counsel of the ungodly, and why did the blessed man reject the counsel of the ungodly?
These are important questions to be asked if we are going to understand the full message and if we are going to effectively avoid the counsel of the ungodly.
The other questions to be asked are these: “Why did the blessed man take delight in the law of God, and what is the law of God?” Because at the end of the message, the blessed man was described to be like a tree planted by rivers of water.
In this book, we are going to explain the book of Psalm one which is the foundation and inspiration for the subjects that will follow to help us as Christians understand our role in the kingdom of God, and what we need to do in order to prepare for the return of Jesus Christ.
Because without understanding who we are, and the core message of the scriptures, we might unknowingly reject God’s counsel and so find ourselves in danger of falling in the judgment.
In this series of books, and chapters, we are going to be explaining why the man seen in Psalm one was considered blessed, and why he took delight in the law of God and was considered to be like a tree planted by rivers of water.
