Hello, welcome to our ministry and Bible study as we journey through the Bible. We are here to challenge you to read and investigate the scriptures so we can better understand the message God is sharing with his people.
Throughout our study, we would like to look at several subjects that have been a challenge for the Church, and this is to help us overcome the things that are dividing us.
Throughout this upcoming series of studies, we will be looking at the book of Psalms, followed by several supporting scriptures to be expanded on as we continue our research. We will be addressing as an introduction to our studies the issues surrounding, the coming rapture, salvation, the book of Revelation, and the book of Daniel just to name a few.
Our goal is to show the many parts that complete the message of Christ’s return, the role of the Church during the tribulation and what we should expect and a required to do as we approach the return of Jesus Christ.
We will use as examples stories taken from the book of Genesis to show as we approach the return of Jesus there are things the Church must do in preparation. For example, most of us believe the book of Revelation when dealing with the Church is a message of judgment to remove the church.
However, if we were to look at how John presented the message, we will find the message to the church was for the Church to clean up its act in preparation for the role it will play during the tribulation. And there is a scripture from the book of Revelation confirming this truth.
As you read this scripture, take note, the scripture is telling us these saints came out of the great tribulation, and because of washing their robes in the blood of the Lamb, meaning they endured the hardship and persecution the world threw at them they were allowed to stand before the throne of Christ and serve in his temple.
Revelation 7:13-15 “One of the elders answered, saying unto me, what are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou know. And he said to me, “These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, are they before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sits on the throne shall dwell among them.
There is much to cover as we go through these books and scriptures to demonstrate the message of God to his people in preparation for what is to come. But I will leave you with this as we investigate the scripture, a statement from John so that we know we are to read to be informed, understand what is to be and prepare for what shall shortly come to pass.
Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
